Thank you to the lovely father and son team at Nero for providing a fantastic evening for our work function! It was so easy to organise with prompt replies to email – especially as the group number grew. The food and wine was so delicious! We will be back!

The restaurant is run by a family who are clearly passionate about providing excellent food and service.
Front of house is run by dad, Andrew, with the assistance is of one of his sons. Whilst the kitchen is run by another of Andrew’s sons, Jayden.
Andrew took the time to check our reservation before coming to the table so he could give a warm welcome and refer to us by name. Both he and his son were attentive throughout the night providing information and advice in relation to the menu and the food.
The menu is designed for the dishes to shared but they could easily be eaten as a main for one.
We had the pork belly that was served with beautifully cooked prawns and a delicious sauce. But the highlight was the wagyu rump served with a heavenly jus together with a side of kipfler potatoes.
It is clear from the quality of the food why Jayden has been awarded AGFC’s ‘Chefs Hat’
We will certainly going back. Just awesome.

Could not fault our evening…. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by the Owner and seated by the staff… The menu was explained extremely well by the lovely waitress (Both were very knowledgeable about the menu when we asked a question)
Throughout the night service was spot on, not too pushy but always aware if we needed anything. Finally a restaurant that does not try to hurry you with the food as we love to enjoy our nights out and not be rushed…..
The food was amazing with attention to detail and presentation just right, cant wait to return and try more dishes.
Wine list very extensive with lesser known wines which made it quite interesting

The young chef did not disappoint and deserves his hat. His Father’s (the owner), knowledge of wine was both entertaining and informative.
Jayden and Andrew are a great combination.

We came for our anniversary dinner and quickly realised we had chosen an absolutely rare gem. Can see why this place quickly received a hat! Very impressive, particularly given Chef’s youth (21 when received).
To begin with, the service was exceptional. Take your time between courses (we did, we were there a good four hours), and every effort was made to ensure this was a memorable experience.
We had the set menu: degustation with matching wines. The food really was delightful, and there was lots of it. The “tastes” to begin with stand out; the time, effort and passion expended to source only the best ingredients available truly pays off. The gnocchi was my favourite dish of the night and I am looking forward to returning in the future to try some more of the Italian dishes. All finished with the dark chocolate fondant and salted caramel ice cream bloody good job, Nero!!
